El Segundo Rotary Club helped two senior citizens with home projects this past weekend. Our efforts were a huge success!!! For June's house we repainted the entire house and garage; replaced all the screens for the windows, a new security door, and new flowers and plants around the house.
Special thanks to El Segundo Boy Scout Troop 773 and Scout Leader Carl Doby, we wouldn't have been able to complete the project without their help; and also special thanks to "Rotary Randy" Albers. Our second project was for Verdie; we gave Verdie two new vegetable gardens in the back yard and a new flower garden in the front yard. Both ladies were extremely grateful for our help. Our President Melissa Albers is responsible for this event and a huge thank you to Melissa is sent out from everyone at the club.
