Los Angeles International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports, and Bob Hope USO greets and serves over 100,000 military service members and their families per year.

In 2018, the USO at LAX relocated to the historic Theme Building. An estimated 2.7 million troops and military families will visit in the next 20 years, seeking a safe-haven and a touch of home at one of the world’s busiest airports. The new 7,000 square foot, state-of-the-art airport center was built to support US troops and their families for generations to come.

One of only six USO centers in the world that operates 24/7 (hours currently restricted due to COVID-19), the Bob Hope USO at LAX is the flagship center and is the largest location by number of troops and families served. On busy days, the center has had more than 1,000 visitors, all weary troops and military families seeking the comforts and connection to home amidst the chaos and stress of travel. A congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of connection.
